Hi, my name is Stijn Van Caekenberghe, and I’m a 23-year-old electrical engineer from Belgium. In 2011, I graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Université catholique de Louvain (dual degree), majoring in digital communications and digital electronics. I currently work for Broadcom as a DSP firmware engineer.

I love to learn. My biggest interests are obviously digital communications and digital electronics. But I try to keep up with other subjects as well (such as security, programming and digital publishing). You can often find me reading recent articles about these subjects. Even when cycling to work, I like to get my technology dosis by listening to podcasts and audiobooks.

Like many people, I love photography. I rarely take pictures of people, or even myself. But you can often find me taking pictures of landscapes or views with a limited lifetime. Unlike many people, I can also enjoy good font design and (to a lesser extent) calligraphy. As an experiment, I created a font out of my girlfriend’s handwriting back in 2007. For me, the best way to relax is watching a good movie or a television series episode. I especially like European movies (mainly French, German, Italian and Scandinavian). On television however, I prefer American series like Mad Men, House MD and Chuck.

Mijn eerste en enige liefde is Kathleen. Zij doet me zweven en houdt me tegelijk met mn twee voetjes op de grond. Zij maakt me voltooid.

Onvoltooid is Dutch for unfinished. It refers to all ideas and plans I have. Onvoltooid.be is meant to be a collection of all my (future and past) ideas and creations.
