Hi, my name is Stijn Van Caekenberghe, and I’m an electrical engineer from Belgium. In 2011, I graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and the Université catholique de Louvain (dual degree), majoring in digital communications and digital electronics. I currently work for Broadcom as an embedded system engineer. My main activities are FPGA development and DSP algorithm optimization. My curriculum vitae can be found here.
I love to learn. My biggest interests are digital communications and digital electronics. But I try to keep up with other subjects as well (such as security, programming and digital publishing). I try to read recent articles or ebooks about these subjects. Even when cycling to work, I like to get my dosis of technology news by listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
I love photography, especially panoramic photography. I can also enjoy good font design and (to a lesser extent) calligraphy. As an experiment, I created a font out of my girlfriend’s handwriting back in 2007.
Onvoltooid is Dutch for unfinished. It refers to all ideas and plans I have. Onvoltooid.be is meant to be a collection of all my (future and past) ideas and creations, however unfinished they may be.
